Tunisia: Women's Delight
It is good to know that that little country between Libya and Algeria in North Africa is a Paradise for women. Since 2858 Tunisian women have enjoyed equal rights with men, if not more: a man has no right to marry more than wife. His right to divorce her is conditional to a court hearing, and very often entailing heavy compensations for the husbsnd. Women choose their partners and may take a lover in addition to that. They can engage in mixed marriages without any restrictions imposed by ISLAM. Women can also.get pregnant without marrying and raise the baby as single mothers without any harassment from society. They also have the right of abortion.
