My first encounter with a male friend I met through EPenPals!
I placed an ad through ePenPals hoping to meet male pen pals from Libya. One man from a suburb of Tripoli answered my ad. and I followed up with a number of messages. He was so pleased with the progress of our virtual friendship that one day he wrote me he would be coming to Tunisia and suggested he would invite me to dinner at a hotel in my hometown. It took me a while to decide, but ultimately I accepted and set a time for our encounter at the hotel lounge.
The meal was excellent and the face to face conversation was in no way comparable to the hundreds of messages we have exchanged. It was a real enlightenment for both of us and our candle talk turned at times to whispers and body talk. I forgot about my family commitment that evening and didn't remember that my husband would be returning from his trip around the same time I was enjoying the evening with my Libyen pen pal.
