Cursed Hands - Poem
If these cursed hands of mine
Could hold something so fine,
So beautiful and lovely as she is,
I'd hold on forever, my morning breeze.
If only these hands didn't shiver,
If I'd have been much braver,
I'd reach out for just a touch
The slightest from her, nothing much.
If only whatever I hold
Didn't slip like melted gold
Or like grains of dry sands
Through my tiny, little hands
I would ask her for her heart.
But I have no idea how to start.
These hands would surely fail
To care for and keep it well.
If only these hands could sign
Quietly tell these feelings of mine
I wouldn't have to stutter
Just to say that I like her
This secret haunts my day
But I keep it anyway
I blame it all on my cursed hands
The words of this poem, I pray she understands.
