I am from Gilgit-Baltistan. Gilgit-Baltistan is a disputed region between Pakistan and India. Gilgit-Baltistan is known as paradise on earth due to its beauty. Unfortunately, we have been deprived of all our basic rights. Pakistan is occupying all our natural assets. The status can be given until there is a plebiscite on Kashmir as per the United Nations resolution.
This is a principled solution for which the constitution of Pakistan will have to be amended and Gilgit and Baltistan will become the sixth temporary province under the constitution of Pakistan and will get seats in all federal institutions including the National Assembly and Senate in proportion to their population.
The second way is to give all the powers to Gilgit Pakistan as in the constitution of Azad Kashmir and provide protection to it in the constitution of Pakistan and make it subject to future referendum under the United Nations.
The third way is to make Pakistan itself a referendum under the supervision of the United Nations and formally add these areas to Pakistan and make it the sixth province and the same should be done with Azad Kashmir and in the case of a referendum in Occupied Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. The results of the same referendum should be included in it.
