FRIENDS FOR FOREVER

Hello everyone from East to West, North to South. Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm Akera Joel from Uganda Africa. I grew up in a country site or side wherever anyone can understand about it and i grew from a village called Kapwota village, Ywaya parish, Padibe Aceba sub-county, Lamwo district, Northern Uganda.

Think is better to let know how we narrowly survived during the LRA war insurgency here for 21 year's till 2007. When I was only 3years as that was the year that my brain memory can function very well on bringing out some memory, was one day at 10:00 am in the morning I saw a group of rebel coming into the direction of our hut I meant a grass thatch roof house with some young boys carrying heavy bags and the rebel had guns, pangas or machete knives and large smoke camouflage their back and the smoke were the burning houses of my Uncle. There after we set up for hiding with a very terrible speed and a terrific sound of a gun shots was following us. We run for almost 30 minutes down to the place where you can only get wild animals like Lion, buffalo hyenas, we reached there while my limbs were all shading blood and I was very tired and me and my cousin were to young that we no longer continue anymore with the escape so we laid down there on the grass for that day without food and water. There was also heavy rain on that day. We spent the night in the bush and sneak home the next day in evening. God really protected us alot through that difficult time from both wild animals and the rebel.
