58 years old and recently retired from French Police Force, I am living in Marseille a big city in southern France in which I make the most of my days taking time to enjoy outdoor activities such as windsurfing, running and strength training.
My wife and me are back from a 5 years stay in Africa, where I was a Police trainer and now, if my wife chose to continue working in Marseille I unquestionably think there are plenty of young jobless people ready to take over the reins and pay for my pension.
For years, I used to participate in English speaking international police mission (Kosovo, Bosnia, Gaza band, Haiti) during which I took pleasure in exchanging in Englisch with Police officers from all over the planet. If my job showed me millions of reasons to be jaded or sarcastic or bitter in life, I still hang on to the reasons why life is beautiful and that it worths to enjoy every day, every hour of it. In order to keep up with my stammering English, I’d like to find someone to communicate with and talk about life, sport, and the wonderful live senior can have if they decide to choose to have it.
