Cambridge Pen Pals - New Friends in United Kingdom

Hi I am 57 yrs Male from Cambridge in England, recently seperated considering retiring early to Malta, I have worked hard all my life and would like to spend the rest of it relaxing in a nice warm climate.
I have been to Malta before on holiday(St Pauls Bay) and fell in love with the place.
I have two Sons and five grandchildren.
My interests are fishing and football, I also like a pint or two at the local.
I suppose ideally my pen-pal would be an ex-pat who has already trodden the path I am about to take, so he/she could warn me or advise me of any pitfalls they encountered,but that is not essential.
