I consider myself to be a woman with good values and looks. I am a gentle soul, quiet and certainly not what most people would assume a social butterfly. By the way can you sleep by yourself in a completely dark room. I prefer to have a soft night light. I feel more comfortable that way.I remember a few years back I was reading a novel The Forgotten Room by Lincoln Child. It is about a research facility with a long history. A hidden room is discovered where in the past clandestine experiments were done on impact of certain sound waves on the brain. Suddenly bizarre mind changes are noticed in the current staff at the research facility. The plot got a bit scary and for a moment I heard strange machines noises.
Amazing how the mind tricks and scares us!!! I try to avoid scary novels and horror movies
