I am many years married and my wife has Alzheimers. The three children live out-of-state making me the sole caregiver but still at a stage where I’m able to work out doing fast pace aerobics twice a week and I run a caregiver meeting at the local senior center. I am a very young guy in his 70’s.

I’ve read many of the entries on this site with people expressing loneliness, being bored, frustration and the depression that can accompany life's journey. Since being a caregiver encompasses a number of these emotions that I’m going through I decided to seek out someone, female and/or male, with whom we can be open and honest about anything that is going on in both of our lives and share an honest dialog and hopefully a long term friendship. I have a great sense of humor, am a very good listener and, if you enjoy flirting, then that’s ok as well.

I took a break from school to serve a mission for my church for a full 18 months and will end in July!
