Helli, I'm a 79 year old musician living in Clearwater Florida. Right now I'm a sub in the Suncoast Symphony, 4th. horn in the Pinellas Park Orchestra (off for the Summer), 1st. (and only horn) in the Pinellas park string group (about 13 string players, 2 tmpts, 2 bones, 1 flute, 2 clarinets, piano, bass guitar and me, we play friday afternoon concerts in the local rest and nursing homes). I live at Top of the World. It's a large unit of 2 and 3 story condos with about 2000 people (guess). Two swimming pools, 2 rec centers (pool tables, ping pong, card rooms...), 2 golf courses, Saturday night dances once a month, plays (put on by the residents), shows from outside groups, Our own chorus of about 30 members... only about 7 miles to the beach where I take my 11 year old Yorki, Teddy (who hates the water but likes to walk in the sand, I call him my "chick" magnet; so far he's pretty lucky and I'm not). I grew up in Lodi/Stockton/Tracy in California. Was in the U.S. Navy from 54 to 62, Graduated from Chico State in Chico Calif, got my teaching credential at Sac State and taught music in public & private schools (the American Community School in Beirut from 68-71) all my life (with truck driving and working with autistic adults thrown in for a few years). During my summers off we lived in a little trailer house at Albion California and were commercial fishermen (my 2 sons Matt and Patrick, and me, mom stayed in the trailer and played solitaire), for Salmon and Tuna. I learned to type in the Navy Communication Tech school, and love to write emails; so I hope you'll have time to write back.
