I’m 66 years of age a gray-haired father to four wonderful daughters and one of which has blessed me with the opportunities of being a grandfather to one granddaughter and three grandsons. I know I’m no spring chicken but I’m not ready for the stew pot yet either. I have personally been and seen how the other side of the world lives and survives. I'm lonely. My problem is I'm not alone, I'm married and have been for 17 plus years and she’s a nice enough woman. She has Charcot-Marie-Tooth a disease which is one of the most common inherited neurological disorders. It’s, also known as a hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy and peroneal muscular atrophy, that affects peripheral nerves. She falls offended and sleeps extremely a lot. Which means I alone a lot.
I keep asking myself am I happy? I can’t even answer that one for myself or what I would do about it. I’m not looking for a replacement just someone to chat with. I am smart enough to realize that by sharing in confidence with others this sometimes leads to the binding of hearts and souls.
