I work as a general practitioner ( GP and ER ) along with my wife ( GP) in a group practice. We went to Istanbul last year for three days while travelling. I am learning conversational Turkish in order to communicate with a few of my patients. I am looking for someone with whom to practice my history taking and basic Turkish phrases for medical exams or clinical encounters . In return I can help with medical terms and phrases used in English. My native language is English since I did all of my schooling in Canada but I also speak basic French and Punjabi. Given the current covid 19 crisis, I am seeing most patients by telemedicine but I am working a few hours daily in my clinic practice. I have had more time to practice learning on line Turkish via some sites but I continue to find the grammar very challenging.
