Dear Friends from Japan.
Today is 1/1/2024 Happy New Year I heard that there was an earthquake and tsunami happened in Japan. I sincerely hope everyone in Japan are fine and stay safe in this new year.
My Family name is 関, you may called me “K”. I am an Asian Chinese living in Singapore. I speak both Mandarin and English. I have a 9 year old daughter who is currently schooling in Grade 4. I am not looking for any romance but just friend or travel companion if I should visit Japan one day.
I want to experience the fun of letter writing or sending postcard to friends. Sound old school right? We can share thoughts, exchange cultural and ideas as well as learning languages from each other.
I may have plan to get a house closer to Osaka. Nara prefecture is my preferred choice as I hope to live in countryside one day.
I love travel and listening to Jazz, mainly from 50’s- 90’s, as well as watching live Jazz performances in club. There are many Jazz performances in Japan which I had visited Japan 3 times mainly Tokyo. I especially love the sound of trumpet in Jazz.
