Birmingham Pen Pals - New Friends in United Kingdom

I'm looking for a penpal who lives in or works around Canada preferably a parent like myself as I would like to create strong connections as I plan to move from the UK in the next few years. I'm single hard working and also funny and bubbly.

I have tried various pen pal sites but have been disappointed as a lot of people seem to be far from truthful, what's the point of that if you are looking for a genuine person to write to? If you want a genuine person to write to then get in touch and I will reply with any questions you care to ask.

I am a mature gentleman aged 62 (well, someone has to be), looking for a female of any age and nationality who is friendly, kind, intelligent and open-minded.

That deterred me from trying it again but I think it’s about time I consigned my cynicism to the scrap heap so I am approaching this venture with optimism and eagerness. I know that there are many genuine and lovely people out there; the difficulty is finding them!

*You should be single (can be separated or divorced) and living in merry old England or the UK at large.

* Emails from people wanting to deposit several million US$ in my bank account (as if), get a visa or are stuck abroad looking for help will be quickly consigned to the trash can where they belong. And please don’t ask for money as a refusal in the form of a two word reply will certainly offend!

So, to sum up, I am looking for someone who I can email regularly and get to know!
