I've been in prison for a while now, since 2001 and haven't had much contact with the streets since. I'm looking to write others for friendships or other kinds of ships so that I can socialize with others outside of prison. My prison history isn't all that good in the sense of "street" good behavior as it is in here. I've done things in order to live comfortably. Now that I'm a little bit older, I wish I would've handled things differently. I've assaulted a number of officers and inmates. I've done a total of 8 years in administrative segregation, twice.
I've done a lot of growing mentally since I was a younger inmate and very angry at the times. I'm a lot to handle. I don't do the whole drama scenery. I've been through to much to deal with that. I try to be as happy as I can but fail a lot of the time due to the fact that I've been doing this alone. I don't blame anyone but myself, never have. I've accepted my lifestyle as a prisoner.
I've been in since I was 17 and before that in juvenile prisons since 14. I'm looking to get parole but my history always comes back to haunt my future. I've already been told to top my first sentence of 15 years, and did. Now I'm doing my other sentence for the new charges I've accumulated since. I'm trying the program this time around too even though it didn't help the last time. That's why I was so angry.
I'm now 36 years old, I work out 2 times a day just to stay sane. I'm trying to be less violent than I used to be and figured I'd be honest about my faults. I really don't show my emotions very well. I'm disconnected from that side of myself so please bear with me on that one.I can have intellectual conversations and am smart myself though at times I mess up and do stupid things. I do swear like a sailor though it won't come out much in writing cause I can at least censor that aspect of my conversations. I do a lot of drawing, haven't tattooed in at least a year, though I have done it in the past. Haven't only because I'd get into some trouble. I can still get down on the basketball court and am still pretty good. These younger dudes can't compete really. I still feel and look younger than I am cause prison preserves.
I do have a cleft lip so I do have a scar on my upper lip. It doesn't hinder my confidence any, though as a kid it did, it toughened me up too. My best feature is my muscles that I've worked hard for. I do have some tattoos, a teardrop on my left eye and some religious runes next to it, and my left hand and forearm, a memorial piece for my dad. I do intend to get more.
A plan of mine is to get my own shop out there eventually. I'm honestly not looking for a handout or to hustle anyone. I'm looking to write and call women to gain something that I've been missing out on. Only the truly serious write please, remember I'm looking for a friend to possibly lead to something more.
