I'm a lady from the south east United States of America. I've been through many of life's day to day situations, and am at that age where I'm trying to do new things in life. I've never had a penpal, ever and now that we can email each other in the blink of an eye, I fi d that what I miss most about having to to hand right out letters is that they actually had to contain substance. Letters had to be well thougt out and be thoughtful. I didn't write a letter unless I actually had something important to say to someone and it would definitely have meaning. Now times have changed to Emails and quick texts, because everyone is so busy they can't be bothered to take some of their precious time out of their day and come up with anything meaningful to say to each other, and all they got now is "j/k lol" or your lol ;)" without emotion or thought behind it. I'd like to meet a friend that would be willing to actually write me letters in which they had to put forth some effort into writing to me. If someone near me did that for me today, I'd literally bawl, and that's sad to me. If someone can find me interesting enough and care about me enough as a friend to actually write me a handwritten letter and mail it to me, then they will have a friend for life. Please let me know how you geel about all the above. I'd prefer a friend in the United States please West Coast or Northwest would be cool.
