I was born in North Texas but have lived much of my life in South America, Great Britain and Europe. I was born on a ranch in North Texas and am still a cowboy at heart. I love horses and intelligent, beautiful women but, hmmm, not necessarily in that order. I am passionate about reading and love to cook. I'm hooked on Shakespeare dramas and Elmer Kelton western shoot 'em ups. Music moves me' I love bebop jazz, progressive, alt and classic country, blues, alt rock, classical and opera. I like to dance: country and Cajun two-step, waltz, scottische and cotton eye joe and tango.

Regarding my physical appearance, I'm 6'5 and about 185 lbs with brown hair with a little grey in it and soulful brown eyes. I'm committed to physical and mental well-being. I don't drink or smoke but don't mind people who do.

I have depression and anxiety but manage it pretty well through regular therapy, medicine, diet and lots of exercise. What really helps is community service.

I work with physical and mentally challenged children in an equine therapy program. It's purt' near the most rewarding, fulfilling thing I've ever done. There's something about challenged children that really gets to me. Also, I'm an animal lover and work with a number of rescue groups. I've got a couple of horses that I rescued and beaucoups of rescued dogs and cats.

I'm a Christian but I'm more spiritual than religious. I go every Sunday to the Episcopal Church. I respect just about very faith and don't care if a person's Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist or Hindu or any other faith. I ain't very partial to televangelists and mega-churches, arm waving, dancing around and hootin' and a'hollering and, especially that radical minority that preach terror and incite violence. I don't hate but bigoted racists and misogynists rile me up.
