Hello! I'm a stay at home step mom to my husbands six year old daughter.I am self employed(I work at home) My boys grown and on their own. I'm a step mom to 4 kids( one lives with us) and I have a 3 year grandson. My hobbies include gardening, cross stitching and reading. I love to bake as well. I'm a single divorced mom. I currently live with my youngest daughter's dad. I've been single for 2 years and been through a lot. My ex boyfriend and I have known each other for 6 long and miserable years. We met in 2005 and started out fine. 6 months later found out he was cheating on me and I was a faithful woman and stayed. Long story short, after 4 1/2 yrs I got tired of it and left him.
2 years later I am still living with him and I deal with his problems but I am ready to finally get out there and look for a good male friend. I'm not looking to jump in the bed with any man either but I am looking to make a great man friend. Someone who is sweet and kind but also compassionate and not scared to show it. I understand Military life hardeneds a man and makes them emotionaless but I do believe everyone has a heart.
About me: I'm a sweet, compassionate but quiet person. I'm down to earth and open minded but have a loving heart and it's big! I am a large plus sized woman and I'm not scared to admit it. I have two wonderful little girls who I adore and who always come first in my life. I have 1 sister with 3 kids and my mom but I'm not close to them because I don't believe in turning my back on family.
The type of friend im looking for is sweet and compassionate himself. He's a great listener but isn't scared to talk either. A family man, one who loves kids and animals. Someone who isn't scared to cry while watching a sappy love story but who doesn't cry like a chick every time he watches bambi either. I like a man who has a heart and is goofy and ready to cheer me up when im down.
I'm not picky or anything but I do wear my heart out there in the open and it does get hurt. I'm not looking for a one nite stand but I'm also not looking to get hurt. I'm looking to make a great friend and maybe one day if things go great start something more.I'm not able to have more children so im not looking for a man in the end who wants to have children of his own, perferable someone who would accept mine as his.
As a far warning I must say this, I do tend to say things out of context and make a fool of myself. I don't mean to but when I talk to people especially men I have a tendence to embarrass myself and it's part of a defense since ive been hurt so much.
