Hello,
Happily married for 34 years, I would welcome both female and male friends.
Gardening, baking, journaling, as well as writing short stories and poetry are tops on my list of things I love to be involved in. I am very much into both self-help and self-improvement books. I love lists and organizing everything.
I love crafts of all kinds and working with my hands; I design and create my own craft patterns, pintables, and have dabbled a bit in formulating graphics and clip art. The old time primitive arts and techniques are tops on my lists of loves and the patterns that I developed myself were created with these techniques in mind.
Browsing through thrift shops, antique stores and flea markets is a great way to find items I can repurpose or upcycle as well as helping me find items to fill my collections. I love collecting antique items such anything to do with mail carriers (as my father was a mail man) as well as antique handkerchiefs, etc.
While shopping for miniatures and dollhouses for my mother as she absolutely adored them, they started becoming a hobby of mine also which led to my love of fairy gardens.
Animal rescue and adoption occupy a bit of my time as I love animals of all types and consider myself an animal activist. My husband and I currently live with 3 canines and 1 feline. Even after years of trying, my husband and I were never able to have children, so our little menagerie of pets is our “children.”

Hello,
My name is Silver, and I'm 61 years old....soon to be 62 in September. I'm a retired medical transcriptionist. I love animals of all kinds and if not for my medical problems...and my doctor, I would be a vegetarian as I have seen inside the factory farms...and it is truly heart breaking.
Anyway....I'm married for 32 years now. We met on a blind date and he truly is the love of my life. I'm lucky in that he loves animals as much as I do. We used to do a small bit of pet rescue here in our own little small town, and we ended up with 4 dogs and 1 cat. The 4 dogs we have are the ones who were so damaged by abuse that we couldn't take a chance on them...they may bite??? So instead of taking a chance that they may hurt someone...or that someone may get tired of them and hurt them, we decided to keep them ourselves.
I love romantic comedy movies and am very much into "self-improvement." I love to read anything about improving myself, setting goals, etc., and I love anything to do with getting more organized. In fact, I love to write lists.... just love it...lol.
