Grew up in Scotland but moved to USA and still here. Like to find an educated lady for friendly banter.

Spent early years near Gordonstoun School where my father was sports master. (Met the Duke of Edinburgh a couple of times as a wee laddie) Then moved to Glenalmond, a 10,000 acre estate in Perthshire which my father managed for Lord Rootes. Wonderful place to grow up. Lochs stocked with rainbow trout and the River Almond flowing through with salmon running in the fall. Horses to ride over the heather covered hills. What memories I have!!
So now I want to exchange words with someone who spells colour, honour and valour with a "u" Make me feel closer to home. Some one to inspire me to write more poetry of my own. Of course, I visit from time to time.
