i'm looking to make penpals and friends for life hopefully. im learning chinese on my own and im looking for someone natively from china to language exchange and learn about china from.

i like ice hockey, swimming, camping, cicadas (i collect their shed skins), learning chinese, learning different languages, playing the sims 3, writing about my characters i created when i was 11 or 12ish, drawing, listening to music, talking to people and so on.

I like beer, extreme weather, many kinds of music, Yoga, trains, motorcycles, bicycles, skiing, camping, movies, politics (I find politics interesting, don't know if I actually like what goes on), cooking.

I am retired caucasion age= 68-been in NYS since Dec 2013, came from California. Born NYC, BS degree obtained in 1977-Had 4 children-down(oldest son was called back to God at age 33)to 3. 25 yr old daughter is in Navy. I do not smoke or drink: My religion is Christian Roman Catholic. I've never been charged with a felony-therefore I've never been in a state or federal prison: Now I've worked as a Correctional officer and for a police dept and sheriff dept. I did go to nursing school and grad. in 1988-got my lic and used it till 2007. I speak excellent Spanish.
I live in a nice studio apt-I enjoy playing chess, pool and writing: I consider myself an amateur writer for the last 10yrs. My love life has always been hetero: if a woman is bisexual am not threatened by such. I have no problem mailing a photo of myself to anyone's PO Box-but over the net-no! Had two and half wives. My first marriage I had annulled, second drifted off as a wasted civil process; The third was a "living experience" that was very loving but never meant to go further than that; I still speak to her occasionally.
