Salt Lake City Pen Pals - New Friends in United States

Ilived on Oahu in the early 1960's with my parents, my dad was in the US Navy. It was the best time in my life, and now I'm alone, my 2 kids are grown and I'm semi-retired. I am tired of the snow here and the heat, other than that I like Utah. I get along with most people, looking for a penpal now, so that I can figure out the costs of living and such, I was there only for a week in 2007, the last 10 yrs has gone by really fast. I actually want to relocate there but, I don't know how to make that happen. In my spare time in the evening I like to watch korean or asian soap operas on Hulu and Netflix, it's a bad habit, lol. I like to go out and eat, movies, drives, walks, and doing anything, I just don't have any current hobbies so I am not a big homebody right now. My husband was my high school sweetheart and we got reconnected in our later years, because of diabetes he died in 2012, he was part Tahitian and I wanted to show him Oahu, but it didn't happen. I am active in the LDS church. I can't think of much else to say.

I can speak a little Spanish, and pronounce Hawaiian names usually, I like asian and polynesian cultures. I play the Ukulele, but my Kamaka of my youth is long gone.
