I'm a science and math nerd and am also into languages (living and ancient), World history, philosophy (I like logic), technology, fitness (I have my own workout system that works for me), and, really, anything I can read about (in any language I have had time to learn to read). In March 2019 I'll be 72 years old, but physically I haven't really noticed my age.

Currently I'm especially interested in finding email pen pals, to correspond with both in English and in Spanish, and particularly those from the countries of Argentina and Spain. (I couldn't give you a really good answer for why I have that preference. I'm actually pretty "Anglo", myself, blond (back in the days I had much hair, anyway ...) and blue eyes.

I went to U.C. Berkeley for Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biophysics--a million years ago or so. :)

I guess I'd have to say that one of my biggest hobbies is theorizing about the Universe, structure, origin, all that--though I pretty much keep those theories to myself (for now, anyway).

vlaplacian (for "Vector Laplacian") is a 'pen name'--not my real name. It's kind of a joke or pun I made up, based upon the mathematical Laplacian that is of a vector rather than a scalar form).
