You have to be willing to compromise with each other. If he/she always lets you get your way, that's great for now, but he's going to end up resenting you. That's why you need to find a just solution to your problems. You can't get your way all the time, and he can't get his way all the time. You need to learn to compromise, so that you're both happy at the end of the day.
