My name is Nawa Liyamba from Hwange , Zimbabwe. I and a friend formed a voluntary community based initiative called Youth In Action Institute in January 2002. We conduct Behavioural Change and Lifeskills programs as well as disseminate information on health and social issues at schools, churches and community at large in our hometown. On the lifeskills aspect of our activities we have engaged into film-making and formed a group called Achimwene Productions comprising 20 members. We also give small groceries and second hand clothing to the underprivileged in our community if available. We operate from the Hwange Colliery Youth Friendly and Resource Centre.
I would like to communicate with any individual, youth or social groups so that we can exchange information on our respective activities and cultures.
