I recently got a renewed interest in letter-writing from listening to the American professor Wes Cecil's lecture on the subject on YouTube, a very good listen. Also had a penpal as a kid, it was a lot of fun but I have some lingering guilt that I didn't put in more effort to connect.

Bhutan enchants me as a fairy tale dragon kingdom and I would be excited to write to someone from there. Dragonology was one of my favourite books as a kid and that's where I first learned about Bhutan. Maybe some dragon-themed correspondence could be interesting? The King and Queen are both strikingly regal and sincere, I would like to have a Bhutanese penpal I think.

I am curious about people living in countries where Dharmic traditions are present and am open to all those who strive to be sincere in whatever they do. I would like to dialogue about the presence of the divine feminine in Dharma with someone, Tara, dakini and offering goddesses, Devi, Linga Bhairavi, etc.

Other interesting place I think would be in Tamil Nadu as I have done some of Sadhguru's programs and am interested in Dravidian culture, botany, language, folk tales/myths, culture, community, temple architecture, etc. I have some books to learn Tamil and am interested but it definitely won't come overnight for a native English speaker, haha!

I have a highly active imagination and would love to write long, detailed, contemplative and aesthetic letters to someone who likes to think of their life like poetry, like music, myth, literature, like art.
