The branch was founded in 1992 and since then has offered lots of humanitarian services to the communities within the Region, especially the most vulnerable within the border villages, which are usually stroked with influx of refugees almost every year. This and other humanitarian service as mandated by the national society carried out by the region cannot be over emphasized with the help of its gallant volunteers and staff across the length and breadth of the region.
Partnerships were also built across the entire country and out with the Region to help engage our volunteers regionally. West coast region branch has about 17,000 volunteers across the region and the number is increasing as more initiatives and partnerships are being introduced by the Branch since the coming of the new executives.
